Bio:
Marissa Autry is currently practicing law under Illinois Supreme Court Rule 711 where she continues to develop her passion and enthusiasm for business-related litigation, real estate, land use, and regulatory compliance. Mrs. Autry began her first year and a half of law school clerking at a private defense firm specializing in commercial litigation, contracts, and shareholder derivative suits. Following, she earned her second-year clerkship with a Fortune 500 company where she developed fast-paced experience working on transactional real estate matters for commercial entities and residential properties. Throughout law school, Mrs. Autry’s extracurricular activities included participating as Health Advocacy Counsel with NIU’s Legal Aid Clinic, competing in Moot Court Society, serving as Class Representative for The Environmental Law Society and Ethics Society, and serving as social outreach chair for the Animal Legal Defense Organization.

Education:

  • Northern Illinois University College of Law- Juris Doctor Candidate Class of 2025.
  • Loyola University Chicago-Bachelor of Arts in Paralegal Studies and a minor in litigation and corporate practice.
  • NALA Certified Paralegal (CP).
