Lakin CuchettoAssociate

Lakin Cuchetto possesses a broad background in government regulation, administrative law litigation, and policy. A Chicagoland native, Ms. Cuchetto continues to build on her experience in navigating complex government processes while advising clients across a range of industries.

Ms. Cuchetto graduated from the Indiana University Maurer School of Law in 2024 with a focus on administrative, environmental, and natural resource law. As a first-year student, she clerked for two Chicago-based boutique law firms, where she gained experience in commercial, construction, and railroad litigation. She later served as a legal intern with the United States Environmental Protection Agency, Region 5. At EPA, Ms. Cuchetto participated in corporate compliance negotiations, provided administrative guidance in civil enforcement cases, and contributed to an Agency-wide response to a high-profile train derailment.

Prior to joining LKK Law, Ms. Cuchetto completed a policy fellowship with a public interest law firm in Indiana. She worked with legislators, agencies, and nonprofit sector leaders to advance collaborative, citizen-centered conservation initiatives.

During law school, Ms. Cuchetto held leadership positions in Maurer’s Environmental Law Society, Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity, and the Disabled Law Student Association. She also competed in the Sherman Minton Moot Court Competition and participated in the Conservation Law Clinic. In addition to her legal career, Ms. Cuchetto brings a diverse professional background spanning education, athletics, retail, and construction.
