Maya Gutierrez brings a strong background in legal research, litigation support, and administrative management to her role as a Paralegal. Ms. Gutierrez focuses her work on litigation preparation, research support, and client service across a range of practice areas.

Ms. Gutierrez has provided research, drafting, and case management assistance on a variety of matters, including False Claims Act cases, entertainment law disputes, and administrative proceedings. Her prior experience includes internships at both boutique and mid-size law firms, where she gained experience conducting comprehensive case law and legislative research, assisting in trial preparation, reviewing contracts, drafting legal memoranda, and supporting court hearings.

In addition to her legal experience, Ms. Gutierrez has worked extensively in administrative support roles within academic institutions, developing skills in project coordination, communications management, and faculty research assistance. She has also been actively involved in leadership and public service initiatives focused on public policy, healthcare, and the environment.

Ms. Gutierrez earned her Bachelor of Arts in Public Policy with a specialization in Energy and Environment and a minor in Health and Society from the University of Chicago.
